Start your week’s vacation on the first day e-learning the basics of what you need to know before getting geared up and into the Verdad pool with a professional PADI scuba instructor on the second day. You’ll learn how to set up your scuba gear, clear your mask, as well as doing some basic underwater navigation and safety procedures in our pool. After that, you’ll do what’s called a “confined water dive” here. Then, you'll have two days out on the ocean with your instructor who will take you by boat from Ostional, a small fishing village about 20 minutes from the hotel. You’ll go on four open water dives across these two days that will start at about 15 feet, and progress to about 40 feet, once you’ve mastered the necessary skills required to go to greater depths.

This course fast-tracks you to PADI certification in just four days, and is available for up to four people. The course taught through Verdad also includes one extra open-water dive on the fifth or sixth day of your stay, where you'll have the chance to explore the Southern Pacific’s natural coral and rock reefs and the local marine life in action – moray eels, sting rays, eagle rays and plenty of tropical fish.
