LAND ADVENTURES
This package includes one horseback riding day trip or sunset ride. You'll saddle up just 10 minutes north of us, and set out into the country side.
The package also includes a canopy zip-line tour. Fly trough the mountainside just outside of the town of San Juan Del Sur with experienced guides leading the way.
We'll also take you on an amazing hike either to some hidden waterfalls if your with us when the water is bountiful, or in the dry season, we'll guide you on a hike over the rocks to Playa el Coco.
And, lastly the folks at Vivero Escameca will host you for a late afternoon at the turtle sanctuary down at the beach. You'll learn about the sea turtles that lay eggs right here and hopefully get to participate in a release of hatchlings.

WATER ADVENTURES
If you opt for the boat add-on, you'll start your day on a small panga boat with a boat captain and skipper. As you head into deeper waters, the skippers will set up your fishing pole, with the hopes that you'll catch a fish or two. As the boat travels along the beautiful coastline between Nicaragua and Costa Rica, guests have the chance to see the abundant wildlife that live in these waters including giant sea turtles, dolphins and even whales sometimes too!
After your morning fishing fix, we'll head to one of our favorite snorkeling locations, where you'll have a chance to see a variety of sea life going about their day. Guests can also try spearfishing and skurfing. When you return to the boat, we'll serve freshly made ceviche.
One surf lesson is also included in the package, because we know you want to get out on the water and experience the fun of surfing! Your lesson will be taught by one of our professional coaches affiliated with Sand Bar Surf School. You'll start out up here at Verdad on land learning surf technique, then we'll head down to the beach and get you up on the waves. Our coaches are truly awesome working with both beginners and advanced surfers alike.
STAY
Stay in our laidback luxurious ocean-view accommodations, where you'll be lulled to sleep after your active days listening to the sounds of the ocean, is included in the package, as well as a daily early-riser pre-breakfast of coffee, tea, fresh fruit, fruit juices and home-made granola, full breakfast, and dinner.
Our food philosophy at Verdad Nicaragua is centered around fueling your body properly for the week of adventures, using fresh and local ingredients, much of it grown right here in our garden. Our chefs create delicious and nutritious meals that cater to every kind of dietary need. We enjoy all of our meals family-style, either in the open-air dining area or poolside.
