Amended Cancellation Policy

We understand that your ability to fly here may change in the coming months. The border crossing from Costa Rica is currently open. We've found this to be the easiest way to reach us, rather than traveling to Managua, as we are only about an hour from the border. Flights into Liberia, Costa Rica are plentiful. With this in mind, if the Nicaraguan government closes its borders to visitors, we will credit you for a future stay in full with no expirationa date. Otherwise, our standard cancellation policy stands.

Please note: Currently, the Nicaraguan government is requiring all visitors to have proof of a negative Covid-19 test prior to entry. The test must be taken no more than 72 hours before you reach customs. Please keep this in mind when planning your travels.

Our Commitment to you:

Your comfort and safety while you are staying with us at Verdad is our first priority. We are continuing to take standard CDC measures to care for and clean all areas within the resort to guarantee that your accommodations are fully sanitized prior to and during arrival. We have also set up additional outdoor seating and lounge areas in order to provide more spaces for socially distanced meals, happy hours, and relaxing throughout the property!

The Verdad Difference:

All of our accommodations feature private decks (with oceans views), en-suite bathrooms, and wide outdoor walking paths to bring you back to our common areas., affording you both privacy and minimal close contact with other guests Even when you are “inside” our common spaces, everything is open-air, so you will never find yourself in an enclosed space with large groups of people during your stay with us. We are fortunate to be located in a private and secluded area.
